Colliding in Consciousness
Colliding in Consciousness explores the relationship between fundamental physics and human perception. Inspired by particle collisions and the invisible structures that govern reality, the work imagines an immersive environment in which visitors experience the dynamics of matter, energy and consciousness through light, movement and spatial interaction.
Rather than illustrating scientific phenomena, the installation translates invisible processes into an embodied experience. Particle trajectories become flowing fields of light, collisions become evolving geometries, and the invisible architecture of the universe becomes perceptible through immersive visual space.
The work proposes that scientific discovery and artistic perception are complementary ways of investigating reality. By transforming abstract physical processes into experiential environments, Colliding in Consciousness invites visitors to contemplate the relationship between the cosmos, consciousness and the human body.
Originally conceived in 2015 as part of a proposal for a large-scale immersive installation, the project remained unrealized as a physical artwork. In 2026 the concept was digitally visualized using generative image and video models to communicate the original artistic vision.
